How to sharpen your ESP learner’s employability skills

This session aims to highlight the essential skills required by today’s ESP learners in order to succeed in their vocation or professional environment and how they can be developed effectively in the classroom.

We will discuss the principal aims and features of ESP instruction, with emphasis on functional language learning through the learners’ exposure to authentic and specific materials. Focus will be placed on the growing importance of soft skills in the 21st century workplace and how they can be fostered and integrated with all four language skills.
