High standards: assessing productive skills at B2 and C1

What are the basics of the assessment of speaking and writing in Cambridge English Qualifications? How can I know when my students are ready for their exams? What resources are available and how can use them to plan lessons and deliver results for my students? Let’s take a look at level descriptors, assessment criteria for speaking and writing and the principles that build the exams to “break the Cambridge code”! The focus of the session will be on speaking at B2 and writing at C1, but the answers and principles will apply to all levels and exams.
